About Us
Rev. Deana Perdue
Rev. Deana Perdue, our Interim Pastor, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion Studies and a Master of Arts in New Testament from Texas Christian University, as well as a Master of Divinity (with emphasis on Christian Education) from Brite Divinity School. She served local congregations in education ministry positions, as curriculum editor for Christian Board of Publication, and as Associate Area Minister of the Southeast Area of the Mid-America Region (with primary responsibility for management of their 240 acre campground).
Deana is passionate about Biblical study and the application of Biblical principles to our Christian walk in the 21st century. One of her favorite Bible verses is “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Colossians 3:23)
Deana is also enthusiastic about animal conservation, birdwatching, reading, collecting books and walking on the beach.
